Newcastle United wants Belgian Johan Bakayoko, who has one Rwandan parent.

Team Talk has reported that Newcastle United is considering targeting players such as Johan Bakayoko of PSV Eindhoven, who plays for the Belgian national team but also has Rwandan roots, as well as Karim Adeyemi of Borussia Dortmund, a 23-year-old German. This is in case they fail to sign 23-year-old Anthony Elanga, who plays for Nottingham Forest and the Swedish national team.

Portuguese journalist Correio da Manhã revealed that Liverpool has entered the race to sign 27-year-old Swedish striker Viktor Gyökeres, who plays for Sporting CP. They join Manchester United and Arsenal in the competition to land the player.

According to ESPN, Chelsea is close to signing Jamie Gittens, a 20-year-old winger from Borussia Dortmund and England’s U21 national team. Dortmund reportedly wants at least £50 million to release him.

The Star has reported that Manchester United might agree to sell 20-year-old Argentine Alejandro Garnacho for around £45 million to expedite the transfer.

One of Bakayoko’s parents is from Rwanda even if he plays in Belgian national team.

The Athletic noted that Manchester United is facing difficulties finding a club willing to buy Tyrell Malacia, a 25-year-old Dutch left-back who previously played for PSV Eindhoven on loan and helped them win the league title.
