FERWACY stated that the competition will be attended by cyclists from its member teams, as well as other local teams that applied and were approved to participate.

The athletes will compete in several categories: elite men, under-23 men, and junior men (under 19). There will also be a women’s category for both elite and under-19 girls.

On Saturday, June 28, there will be an individual time trial race along the Batsinda – Rulindo – Batsinda route, covering a distance of 25 kilometers.

The following day, on June 29, a road race will take place starting in Gasanze, passing through Shyorongi, Base, Gicumbi, Rukomo, and Nyacyonga before finishing back in Gasanze. This race will cover 162 kilometers for elite men and under-23 riders.

Women and junior boys will race over a 126-kilometer course starting in Shyorongi, going through Base, Gicumbi, Rukomo, and Nyacyonga, and finishing in Gasanze.
